Vince Lombardi

Vincent Thomas Lombardi, one of the most successful football coaches in the history of American football was born June 11, 1913. Vince Lombardi was the head football coach of the NFL Green Bay Packers from 1959 to 1967, and the Washington Redskins in 1969. Lombardi's Green Bay football teams dominated the National Football League. He was the only coach to win three consecutive NFL championships games and the Packers won the first two Super Bowls. Football was his life and passion.
