Rich Rodriguez is the current head coach of the University of Michigan. Rich Rodriguez was born May 24, 1963 in a Grant Town, West Virginia. In 1981 Rich Rodriguez graduated from North Marion High. While in high school Rodriguez was an all-state football and basketball player. After high school, Rodriguez attended West Virginia University (WVU). He was a walk on to the football team and later earned a scholarship under coach Don Nehlen. Rodriguez was the head coach of WVU for seven year. In 2007 Rich Rodriquez broke his contract with WVU and became the head coach of the University of Michigan. He was succeeded at WVU by long time assistant couch Bill Stewart.
